dunia ini penuh dengan kepalsuan
apakah tiada keikhlasan
aku sebagai kembara jalan
yang tiada pedoman
terumbang ambing
di lautan dosa..
aku dalam gelap gelita
dahagakan keimanan
mencari sinar harapan

An old American Muslim lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning Grandpa was up early sitting at the kitchen table reading his Quran. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.
One day the grandson asked, "Grandpa! I try to read the Quran just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?"
The Grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, "Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me back a basket of water.
The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, "You'll have to move a little faster next time," and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and he went to get a bucket instead.
The old man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just aganot trying hard enough," and he went out the door to watch the boy try in.
At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out before he got back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather the basket was again empty. Out of breath, he said, "See Grandpa, it's useless!"
"So you think it is useless?" The old man said, "Look at the basket."
The boy looked at the basket and for the first time realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old coal basket and was now clean, inside and out.
Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an . You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out when you read time by time . That is the work of Allah in our lives...."

I envy the sand that met his feet
I’m jealous of honey he tasted sweet
Of birds that hovered above his head
Of spiders who spun their sacred web
To save him from his enemies
I envy clouds formed from the seas
That gave him cover from the heat
Of a sun whose light could not compete
With his, whose face did shine so bright
That all was clear in blinding night
I envy sightless trees that gazed
Upon his form completely dazed
Not knowing if the sun had risen
But felt themselves in unison
With those who prayed, and fasted too
Simply because he told them to
With truth and kindness, charity
From God who gave such clarity
His mercy comes in one He sent

As truth prevailed and falsehood fled
And hope restored life to the dead

Administering justice between two people is an act of charity; and to help a man concerning his riding beast by helping him on to it or lifting his luggage on to it is an act of charity; a good word is charity; and every step which you take to prayer is charity; and removing that which is harmful from the road is charity.” (Sahih Bukhari)

The Last Hour.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him: PBUH) made this general prophecy about the present state of affairs, This Hadith is narrated by Abdullah Ibn Abbas (R) and recorded in the Mudkhal by Ibn-al-Hajj:
"The Holy Prophet s.a.w said,
'Prayers will be neglected, carnal desires will be pursued, transgressors will become leaders,
it will not be possible to distinguish the faithful from the false, telling lies will become desirable,
payment of Zakah will be taken as a burden, the believer will be deemed the most disgraceful and he will be pained at seeing evils all around and his heart will melt as salt in water but he will not be able to say anything.
Rain will do no good; it will fall out of season.
Males will commit adultery with males, and females with females.
Women will dominate. The offspring will disobey their parents, friend will treat his friend badly, sins will be taken lightly. Mosques will have external decorations and beauty and there will be worshippers too but there will be hypocrisy and mutual enmity in their hearts.
Then will appear a people from the West who will dominate the weak among my people.
People will produce copies of the Holy Quran in letters of gold but will not act upon it.
The Quran will be recited in a melodious way.
Usury will become rampant. Human blood will have no value, religion will have no helpers.
Singing women will be on the increase.
The rich will perform the Hajj as a pastime,
the people of the middle class will do so to conduct business and
the poor to beg for charity."

He transferred it in its entirety to his followers
And they transferred it to their children and other generations
So that here in this room...and in every other gathering of Muslims
There is at least one...or two...or three...or four...maybe ten people who have memorized
The 6 thousand 6 hundredth 26 verses of the Quran in its entirety
It has been preserved since that time
I ask you
If all the Bibles in the world were thrown in the ocean
Who would produce the Bible again? ------------Nobody could
Because they don’t even agree about what the Bible is now
But if all the Qurans were thrown into the ocean right now -----------All of them
We could produce the Quran all over again
We could bring a Chinese, Hafiz, memorizer of the Quran
Or Russian memorizer of the Quran
An American memorizer of the Quran
A German memorizer of the Quran
Who didn’t even know each other
They would all come here together
And in two days ------They could all recite simultaneously and the Quran is back again
You owe it to yourself to read this powerful scripture

It is the crown of my success…
I have seen the Port of Safety,
Oh, he whose essence is purity….
Ya sirajal kauni inni aashiq muntaham
Mughramun wal Madhu fannii Ya Badrat Tamaam
Oh, Light of creations…
verily my longing for you has mountained…
My longing and poem becomes my art
Oh, Perfect Full Moon…
Ishrifil’aroodho’ anni adhnaanis saqom
fiika qod ahsantu zhonni yaa saamil’uhud
Remove the bothersome veil so that I may see you,
I have a strong expectation of your promise of safety
Oh, one who is firm in his promises,…
Yaa sirojal anbiyaa-i yaa’alil janaab.
yaa imaamal atqiyaa-i inna qolbi dzaab
Oh, light of the prophets, Oh, summit of purity,
Leader of the people of Taqwa, My heart is one with you…
Wa’alaikallahu sholla rabbi dzuljalal….
Yakfi yaa nurol ahillah inna hajri thool…
For you may there be the salutations of Allah,…
My Lord is indeed the Master of Every Perfection…
It’s enough for me, Oh, light of Allah,
To journey towards you, surely the separation is long…
Sayyidi wal’umru walla jud bil washli jud
My master, all my life you are my beloved,
Hasten my meeting with you…
allahumma solli wa sallim wa barik aleiyh..
