yesterday baba shared a great simple story about the old man, the kid and the donkey.
we've heard this a lot of times but seems to forget as time goes by.
the story goes, once upon a time, there was an old man, a kid and a donkey. the old man was pulling the donkey and the child was walking beside of them.
they then came to a village. villagers saw them and said to the old man : "hey old man, why are you so inhuman to let the small kid walk when you can let him ride the donkey!" having heard that the old man then carried the kid and put him onto the donkey and continue their journey.
after a few hours in the hot sun, they at last came to rest on the coming village.
as they were going through the streets of the village. one of the villagers said " hey little kid, why are you being so inhuman? dont you know that its disrespectful to let an old man walk in this scorching sun, having you being the stronger of the two to walk?" hearing that the kid jump off the donkey and let the old man ride it.
they then coninue their journey towards another village.
as night falls, and another village reached. one of the villagers said. " how cruel are you old man, dont you see that the donkey is at hurt having to carry your heavy body all the way long." hearing that the old man disembarked the donkey. then as there were continuing to the last village, the old man remembered what the villager said. then he and the kid carried the donkey to the other village.

the moral of the story is. if we keep on hearing what people say, we somehow will become stupid in following n wanting to please every single people.
the important thing is to know what we do, do what is thru, do and heck care on others. if it is for the better of the ummah why not? do a lot of selawat and youll be fine, read the quran daily and ull be fine.
do is better then just plan
do is better coz in doing there will be trials and errors.
by doing we will learn more from mistakes and never doing the same mistakes again.
do what rasulullah s.a.w will do.
do anything that will get the redha of Allah.
do for what is best for the ummah.
one band, one sound.
